A woman founded Pura Vida Organic. With its goal of spreading awareness about skin health and producing organic and natural products to make them accessible to a broader population, it is one of the most noble companies that is also ahead of its time.

The Pura Vida Organic Skin Care

A unique and certified skincare range containing CBD (Cannabidiol) from Cannabis Sativa L. species (hemp). There are more than 120 known cannabinoids, and many more are still being discovered, some of which have yet to be named. All mammalian bodies have an endocannabinoid system, which helps our bodies maintain homeostasis (balance). We have receptors that cannabinoids can easily bind to (CB1 and CB2); these receptors are found throughout the body, including the skin, brain, nervous system, and internal organs.

CBD (Cannabidiol) interacts with the human endocannabinoid system and can produce remarkable results on the skin, particularly for individuals with problematic skin or signs of aging.

Product range

• Designed to last for the user for 1 month. A period of 28 days is sufficient to start seeing some changes in your skin. Skin cells renew every 28-40 days.
• Made for all skin types (sensitive, oily, dry, combination).
• Food-grade ingredients – your skin is your biggest organ, so if you cannot eat it, why would you put it on your skin?
• Mild & gentle surfactants (soap in cleanser), mild enough for baby skin.
• All products are pH-balanced.

We founded this company because we couldn’t find simple, organic products for our skin types that used quality ingredients, weren’t mostly water, met our standards, and were backed by third-party certifications. We’re fussy eaters, and we’re picky with what we use on our skin. We plan to set a new, higher standard in skincare.

Pura Vida began as a personal journey to create skin care products for my sensitive skin. I couldn’t find 100% natural and organic products that met my standards – so I made them myself. Once I discovered what worked for my skin, I wanted to share it with everyone else.

Pura Vida is the first CBD brand in the world to have their production facility, laboratory, and own brand certified.

The products are certified according to the COSMOS Organic or Natural standard.
